EXCLUSION SCHEMEThe Norwich City Centre Partnership (CCP) has recently launched "Alert" Norwich Business Crime Initiative. "ALERT" is actively working with businesses, retailers and licensees in the city centre to develop a scheme that will provide a new digital radio security system, an online information sharing database system “sircs”, a 24/7 control room and will work with Norwich City Council CCTV system and a direct link with Norfolk Constabulary. The objectives of the scheme are to reduce crime and disorder and antisocial behaviour in Norwich businesses, retail and night time economies, to make Norwich a safer environment for residents, visitors and shoppers and to develop effective ways of communicating with businesses, retailers and the night time economy to minimize the risk of crime. How much does it cost?
The Alert Membership includes the SIRCS online data information sharing system, a 24/7 manned control room, the radio system networks, scheme administration and links with Norwich City Council CCTV and Norfolk Constabulary. The digital radios are an additional element to the scheme and are provided at a specific rate for Alert Members through a direct contract with Shopsafe at £339 per radio annually or with monthly/quarterly agreements. ** Special Introductory Night Time Economy Offer** The night time digital radios are an additional element to the scheme and only available to Alert Members through a direct contract with Shopsafe at £279 per radio annually.
