WELCOME TO NORWICH
CITY CENTRE PARTNERSHIP

Norwich is a major regional service centre and a Top 10 retail centre in the UK. Its City Centre is the jewel in its crown, a “contemporary medieval city” with a rich architectural and cultural heritage. Norwich provides great leisure and hospitality throughout the day and far into the night, with a well-established thriving and vibrant evening scene.

Norwich is the largest centre of employment in the region, with around 50,000 workers in the city centre alone. Norwich welcomes visitors and businesses with easily accessible facilities and infrastructure.

Increasingly Norwich City is providing new homes, with 6000 new dwellings having been built since 2001. Norwich is set for unprecedented growth as part of the Government's development agenda by 2025.

The City Centre will need to change, grow and adapt to accommodate the new needs of the local population. The Norwich City Centre Partnership (CCP) will have a key role in helping to facilitate and support that growth, advocating the importance of the City Centre.

Our partnership, the CCP, is a powerful mechanism that forms the perfect vehicle through which to focus on the issues that concern us all, work up effective solutions and then make sure they actually happen.

It takes a great deal of work and the energy of many partners to keep the city centre functioning properly, keeping the place fresh and appealing with a strong and diverse offer and quality services. The CCP is engaging a growing number of stakeholders in supporting the health and vitality of the place we all care a great deal about.
